（中英对照）学生代表2007年英语节开幕|发言

Good morning, dear teachers and fellow students,

On behalf of all the students, I'm much honored to be here to give a speech for the first English Festival of our          school.

Cold winter has staggered far away;
Warm spring has waltzed to us at last

As the common saying goes, “spring is the best time to plan,”
Spring is the best season to plough.

English Festival is the best time for us to show our talent and enjoy English.
 It’s also the time for the teachers to harvest joy;
 It is the time for us all to grow up together.

Our English festival will last a week. We’ll have a series of activities. We have prepared for it for a long time. I really hope that we will do a good job, improve our English and enjoy the great English culture in this festival.

As you know, our school is a foreign language school. English is our distinguishing feature. We must learn English    well. Futian Foreign Language School is our home where everyone can improve everything.

The theme of this English Festival is “Create an English speaking environment. Cultivate the ability to communicate.” After this festival I’m sure we’ll become better and better in our study, in our life and in our understanding of the      world. Now we are members of our school, but in the near future, we’ll become great talents in China, even in the   world.

In the end, I wish our English Festival a great success.

今天我代表全体学生做关于我校第一次英语节的讲话，我感到非常荣幸。

寒冷的冬天渐渐远去

我们终于迎来了春天的翩翩舞步

常言到“一年之季在于春！

春天正是我们努力耕耘的好时辰。
英语节是同学们展示才华，享受英语的节日，
也是老师们收获喜悦的节日，

它是我们全体师生共同成长的节日

我们的英语节将持续一周。在这一周里，我们将举行一系列丰富多彩的活动。为此，我们已经进行了长时间的准备。我衷心希望通过这次英语节，我们能提高英语水平，享受英语文化，在英语的海洋里共度美好时光。

众所周知，我们学校是一所外国语学校，英语是我们的特色。我们务必学好英语。外国语学校为我们提供了一个不断完善自己的地方。

这次英语节的主题是“营造英语氛围，培养交际能力。”我相信，这次英语节以后，我们一定能在英语学习上取得重大进步，我们的生活也将变得更美好，我们对于世界的理解也会更深入。

今天我们是外国语学校的一员，在不久的将来，我们将成为全中国乃至全世界的精英！
